open oc collective • discord based • 20+ muns only
01 : please have a carrd, google doc, tumblr, etc. where your muse's information is located. it does not have to be anything fancy; it just needs to be easy to read, and have enough information about your muse for everyone to reference.
02 : fc, mun, and muse must be at least 20 years of age. only one muse per person. your fc can be any race or ethnicity. muse must reside in the seoul area.
03 : let us know if you need to go on a semi-hiatus (2 weeks max) or full hiatus (1 week max). if we message you about inactivity and you don't reply within 24 hours, you will be removed.
04 : there will be some in-character drama from time to time within this crew. please do not apply if you don't think you can handle this. any drama veering into ooc territory will not be tolerated.
05 : twins are allowed, but you need to speak to the person already in the collective with the same fc, and both of you must agree to a twin or doppelganger plot. please make sure to have this conversation before applying.
06 : we allow supernatural muses. feel free to let us know more about your muse's powers in your application, if they would be used sparingly for this collective.
07 : this is a small collective, so we are not able to accept everyone who applies. that being said, it is absolutely nothing towards you as a mun. we will reach out to more people over time.

the rich get richer, while the poor become poorer... and the rich have more than enough. it's a filthy epidemic that's fueled by greed, power, and control, with the top 10% having an unfair advantage to this economic divide. something needs to change, and 404 is committed to making things right.
brief
this is a top-secret, vigilante crew that was founded by a couple of close friends. they slowly offered invitations to people who have the skills, passion, and determination to be a part of their team.
as a brand-new syndicate, they're starting small, with house robberies and misdemeanor acts of fraud. but, as they grow more confident, so will their operation.
they are currently working off of a modest budget, with just enough supplies for small missions. they were able to scrap together enough money for a refurbished delivery truck and a small, dusty basement in hongdae to use as their headquarters.
as our muses complete more missions and heists, they'll gradually earn more money to go towards buying better getaway cars, weapons, tech supplies, new crew spots, and much more.
they will also save funds to branch out to different locations all over the world, and eventually, our muses will be able to work with npcs in europe, north america, africa, etc. for global missions.
crew positions
mastermind • (taken) • a dangerous force. the world is lucky that they want to be one of the good guys.
forgers • (TAKEN) • creates id cards, security badges, and any documents that they need. assists with organizing missions and seeing them through.
hackers • (open) • breaks into security systems, iphones, laptops - anything that the team needs. scopes out each location before a mission.
techs • (open) • covers up security cameras, develops microchips for tracking, and ensures that everything runs smoothly. not afraid to go out on the field during a mission.
surveyors • (taken) • knows how to be a smooth talker when it matters most, and gains valuable information for the group. helps elsewhere when needed.
brutes • (open) • on the front lines during a mission, but only violent when necessary. should be able to fight, shoot, and kill for the group.
drivers • (open) • reliable drivers that know how to get away from the police.

is this a literate roleplay?
yes. however, we will have a general group chat, which will be semi-lit and optional.
is this an open collective?
yes, your muse can still interact with people outside of the collective.
will this be a writing-heavy collective?
official missions will be written as a group through short para replies. we will also have opportunities to write self-paras, two-person missions, mission summaries, etc. if you'd like. that being said, not everything we have planned will be writing-based. we recognize that some muns will write their muses around this collective, while others would like this to be more of a side plot.
tl;dr: the opportunities to write will definitely be available, and writing out official missions and group interactions will be expected. it all depends on what you make of it and how it will benefit your muse's development.
how active will i have to be?
we have a lot of fun things planned, and different ways for you to be involved, but you do not have to participate in everything in order to be considered active. you should be able to fit this collective into the time you would normally roleplay.
can my muse travel?
they can, they just need to let the syndicate know a week in advance.
can i use my personal discord / discord for all of my muses?
we would prefer a discord account specifically for your muse, but you can use a personal or mutli-muse account as well! all that we ask is for you to have a dp that fits your muse.

02 : your muse does not have to be amazing at what they do in order to join. this crew will be clumsy at first and make mistakes, but as time goes on, they'll be more in sync, build their skills, and take on more advanced missions. more information will be provided once you're approved.
